The Northen Lab contributes to GNPS

Global Natural Products Social Molecular Networking, or GNPS, is a platform built for the analysis of MSMS data using crowdsourced MS libraries [2,3]. Northen Lab members Ben Bowen, Katherine Louie, and Trent Northen recently contributed to the paper “GNPS Dashboard: collaborative exploration of mass spectrometry data in the web browser,” highlighting a new, collaborative interface [1]. MSMS data from the Northen Lab has also been added to GNPS, which enables researchers to compare data to an additional database of known compounds.
